On a number of occasions I have been asked the question, “Why did you write a book on women in ministry?” The question is sometimes followed by the statement, “I though only women read those books.” There are several reasons why I chose to write about women in ministry. But, the biggest reason is that I wanted to cause change in the body of Christ. The voices of many women have been stolen by ignorance, poor theology, and sometimes prejudice.
